Happy Monday
I hope you have all had a good weekend?
It started great with an England win in the football and as it stands they are going to continue with their winning streak (fingers crossed).
Football aside it’s been a busy crochet weekend for me, I had ago on some software to make a pattern and managed to get a sample printed off so watch this space for that progress. I went and fetched all the wool ready yesterday and a little excited to see if it works. If so I will be purchasing the software to start work on my own designs.
I made a little piggy and late last night finished an Owl and I love both. Both patterns are from the same book as Sally the Swan and will be joining Harry to raise funds for a local wildlife trust.
The pig is so cute and teeny, you can see from the picture against my hand of how small and cute it is. He was really quick and easy to make up, helps when there are no colour changes, It took me about an hour and half in total. You could make up a family by changing your hook size if you want to have a go.
The owl I have made before so I knew what to expect, but still forgot the hardest part is the last bit. So if I ever have to do him again I will ensure I do the feet first to get them out of the way. They’re so fiddly as you start with 3 separate toes which have to come together to make the full foot. Not good with long nails I might add ha ha.
This does mean that my Temperature Blanket is behind a few days so I’m going to go and catch up while I watch the second half of the England game.
Let me know what you’ve been working on this weekend, love to hear what exciting things people are working on, whatever it may be.
Happy Hooking Peeps
Take Care
