Mine too! Plus HOME of course. Just looked at the info regarding crochet diploma. Sounds fun and interesting. I have been crocheting a little more than a year and have learned a tremendous amount through browsing online sites and available videos. It is always amazing, however, that I continue to build my knowledge and skill by encountering, researching and practicing new techniques and by continually honing my humble skills. I think I would enjoy the modules but am not sure I want to split my “yarn allowance” budgeted amount for classes when I find so many resources online. Last night in bed (where I do a lot of my creative thinking๐โบ), I began to think about yarn, how it is made, what makes it different, i.e. distinguishes one brand of acrylic or cotton, etc., from another, all the other brands, differences in the manufacturing process ond origin, what makes an “eco” yarn, and on and on it goes. I have a background in writing, research and journalism and thought this would make for lengthy research and an accompanying article. I recently read a review about wool the other day that was interesting and informative. Just thinking this might be fun to do and publish on my blog. Oh the things that keep me up in the wee hours๐๐. I like your blog and I do indeed enjoy the sun but can’t sit on the porch in my pajamas ๐.

Hi, Wow that sounds interesting I think you should publish your findings, the course covered the difference of each and what they are best for but didn’t go in depth. I too haven’t been crocheting long and taught myself online and books and youtube was my best friend at one point. I have found (up to now) I do know most of the things they mention or I do it a better way for me, and I am finding it’s the little things I’m picking up that’s making a difference. I guess I wanted to do it to see if I do actually know what I am blogging about ha ha. Oh and I would defo sit on my porch in PJ’s if I was lost in crochet I wouldn’t care ๐

Mine too, but I would also add yarns shops as my happy place because I love buying yarn just as much as I love crocheting ๐
