Good evening all, hope you’ve had a good Monday and ready to take on the rest of the week ahead?
The season has well and truly turned now so yes I jumped on the pocket shawl bandwagon.
- Pattern Downloaded
- Yarn Ordered
- 1 Saturday afternoon / evening
- Boom done
- Love it
Followers will know that I love my Clover Hooks and since I picked my first one up I’ve not used anything else. Well you can imagine my shock to find that I did not have a 7mm to make my shawl.
How is this even possible?
So I quickly opened the Amazon app to search for one and good old Amazon to the rescue, click click click arrives a few hours later, Happy Days.
Don’t think I will lose this one, need sunglasses to use it TeeHee
Have a lovely evening

The dreaded moment of realising you don’t have the right hook size!
I too have struggled to use any other hook since I got my clover amours a few years ago.
Anyway, the shawl looks great and so do those pockets! I need to make something like that!

It’s so hard isn’t it? I tried with a hook from my stash but I just couldn’t do it. Thank you.

Yeah, I couldn’t find one of my clover hooks one night so I got a plain metal hook from my stash but when I tried to crochet with it I felt like I’d forgotten how to crochet it felt so different! 😀
