Hello All, how is that Christmas shopping coming along? If you’re anything like me I’ve still not really started. I seem to making things for others and not thinking about myself and what I need as always.
Well, a few weeks ago I got these really cute mini balls of cotton yarn and didn’t know what to do with them. I decided to make a face scrubby and try it. Being cotton they are really soft, washable, therefore reusable Bonus!
I donated all the sets bar a few to Marie’s Forever Aloe Vera to use as part of the Christmas Gift sets which make a lovely little addition as I put them in their own colour coordinated organza bags. It’s the small touches isn’t it?
If you are looking for some last minute gift ideas then do take a look at the Forever Page and ask for a gift set to be put together for you, or go over to the website and pick your own great products.
Have you used reusable face scrubs or made your own? They are a great environmentally friendly alternative to face wipes. Please show me your makes if you have as I only made up a very basic pattern for them.

Hello Everyone, just a quick one this Sunday morning, I hope you are all well?
I brought this amazing pattern from one of my favourite designers last month, Eleonora Tully @Coastal Crochet, and these wrist warmers work up really quick and easy and look fabulous. They are great for walking the dogs so that you don’t have to keep taking them off for you know what (the stinky job lol).
I made these using Stylecraft’s DK and they feel so soft and silky, I might just have to use up some stash and make some more, you always need a change of colour right?
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Marie x

Well, I just had to share this little guy with you, he was so quick and easy to make up that I cannot wait to make some more.
I have been waiting for this book to arrive for quite some time now, in fact I had given up on it actually arriving, then out of the blue a notification from Amazon and the next day it was pushed through my door.
How exciting, I really didn’t know which one to do first there are so many to choose from, the frog looked rather quirky so went with him first, I think it was the tongue.
The book is by Jonas Matthies, Mr Supergurumi himself, go check out his website he is so talented.
I cannot wait to make more bookmarks, they’re going to make great stocking fillers.
Happy Hump Day Cosies
Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Who wants the lovely weather we had at Easter back?
I know I certainly do, just seen a news notification pop up saying there is possible snow for some of the UK this Bank Holiday weekend, seriously? Yesterday’s notification was for a 3 month heat wave. Make your minds up people you’re messing with my mind and wardrobe lol.
I love nothing more than getting home from work, opening up the house getting all the cushions on the garden furniture, openening up the bar (yes we are lucky enough to have one on our garden) getting a cold drink and a WIP and sitting in the sun with the pooches crocheting. Ahhhhh roll on summer please.
Anyone else with me?
Do you like working outside when it’s nice?
This was last summer and we have a third bum to join in with the summer sun fun this year so watch this space. Although I really think I need to emigrate.
Come on, lets will on the sunshine together, We can do this!!
